Inky!

Yesterday, I got probably the cutest beanie boo EVER!
His name was legs originally, but I didn't like it, so
I decided to rename him.

Isn't Inky the cutest ever?

If I renamed Inky what would I rename her as?

Bouquet Bed part 2!

 Hey!
Continuing with the Bouquet Bed part 2! Before I start, I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately. I will have 2 more today.Anyway, when I make my doll houses, I make a plan for every part I need. Normally ,  I'd make it out of foam core, but right now I'm on vacation (That's also why I haven't been posting Aurora's castle.) So instead, I layered pieces of paper, and glued them together.

I cut all of these pieces, and glued them.

This is what it looks like assembled.
Afterwards, I placed two pieces of felt on each other.
Have a fantastic day!

Bouquet Bed part one!

Hi guys!
I was looking on one of my favorite websites, American Girl and Other Awesomeness, and saw that Nina had done a overview of American Girl's new release. One of her favorite new items, the bouquet bed was CRAZY EXPENSIVE. So I put myself up to the challenge of making that bed for under $50.
When I start a new house I make a plan that has the outside/inside finished result, the measurements, and a non-scale drawing of all of the pieces that are needed. So I did the same for the structure of the bed.

This gets my thoughts organized.

Have a great day!

Oh My Dollies!

Hey!
When I was on Doll Diaries, I stumbled upon a wonderful site called Oh My Dollies! This is a great place to look , so you should click here, or here.
She is having a doll magazine, and is so nice that she is including us! So I took a picture for it , and here it is.

Weekly Doll Craft!

It's Wednesday so.... its time for a craft!
Today I'll make a storage seat! In this craft you'll need:

  • Leftover cardboard
  • Felt
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors
  • A doll for measurement

First,  lay your doll in a sitting position on a
piece of cardboard.

Then, make sides by tracing the base 4 more times.
Next trace the base of storage seat generously. Cut it out and put it to the side.

Trace the side on felt, and rap it around the sid of the box

Put the piece we cut out earlier on felt and cut it out.
This will be  the top.

Tada! Place the top on

When you open it up, line it with felt.

You are done! Now you have a beautiful seat.
You can store things in it too!

Did you make it?

Homemade doll clothes for Frozen!

Admit it, you love frozen. You adore the sister story , and the soundtrack. Well, if you're like me you do! I thought my Classic Anna and Elsa dolls deserved a better wardrobe. So , I got out my hot glue gun , scissors, and felt, and began crafting.

"Hi guys!" Anna says! She is wearing a chill outfit , perfect for
a day on the beach.

Next, Anna is wearing a more
fancy outfit. You better not get any
chocolate on it!

This  is Elsa's Fancy outfit. The cold
never bothered her , so she has short
sleeves

Last, I took a picture of  Anna and
Elsa together in matching clothing.
I hope you enjoyed these outfits. I will keep them in their original clothes though :)

Have a great day!

Weekly Doll Crafts!

Hey!
I was looking at a few of my favorite doll blogs, and I noticed that my favorite posts are always doll crafts. So, every Wensday , I will post a fun little craft for you guys!
What I love about doll crafts:
  1. You can reuse something for a new piece of furniture for your doll!
  2. You can make it to fit you needs, not the manufacturers'
  3. It's practically a free toy!
  4. Make fun twists with it
Here's a sneak peek!

Have a good day!

Bad Quality Pictures

Hey!
Remember in the last post how I said that I have bad quality pics? So I thought "Why not start a blog off like this. Get the bad posts done."
The focus of this picture is Anna's bed on the second floor

This bad quality picture has the main floor with a
couch, coffee table, a flat screen TV,  door, and 2 windows

This picture has somewhat of a side view. You can notice the swing
from "The First Time in Forever"
Have a great day!

New Blog!

Hey! As some of you may know me , I am Maria. You might remember me for Maria's Crafty Corner, or AG Katie's Blog. I haven't posted in AGES, and now I deleted those blogs. They were just, so unprofessional *shudders*. I Capitalized every Single Adjective in a Sentence. (Just like that)
Anyway, I want a new start , and to show everybody my new hobby. I love, love , LOVE making dollhouses out of foam core for 12" dolls , such as Disney Classics, and others. So far I've made 2 and I'm working on my third. I made my first , Elsa's, for my cousin. My second was Anna's, for another cousin. Right now, I am working on Aurora's Castle , which I am making for the cousin who I made the Elsa Palace. Regrettably, I did not get any good pictures of those two :( , but I intend to post frequently about Aurora's castle. I will post the bad quantity pics soon though.
I am so excited to start blogging again, and hope I will be forgiven for my previous awful grammar.

Have a fantastic night!
